Shelley
Clinical Supervisor, CDA
Duties: Assisting Dr. Wagner with all clinical appointments and providing support, education, and encouragement to our patients. Fabricating custom orthodontic retainers for patients. Overseeing patient flow and care, so each patient has an efficient but never rushed appointment. Handling and resolving any questions or issues related to adjustments and appliance wear.
Field History: Graduated from the Gulf Coast State College Dental Assisting Program in 1988. Has worked in the orthodontic field since graduation.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: I like that each patient is different and presents with individual orthodontic needs. We see people of all ages and with different life experiences. Each brings their unique stories, energy, and excitement to the office, which means every day is different. It is rewarding to create beautiful smiles for such wonderful people!
Favorite thing about Dr. Wagner: He is kind, caring, and truly concerned about each patient. I appreciate the one-on-one time he gives to every patient, and how he treats each as family.
Favorite thing about the job: The time we share with our patients and the connections that happen during treatment. They enjoy coming to see us and we look forward to seeing them!

Administrative Assistant, CDA
Duties: Front office.
Field History: Been in the dental profession since 2007, including general dentistry.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: Seeing the patient's confidence level increase when they love their smile!
Favorite thing about Dr. Wagner: He is a great team leader who truly cares for his staff and patients. He does not allow his intelligence and knowledge to overwhelm people; he takes his time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan so patients/parents can understand. His sense of humor and down-to-earth personality give the office a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
Favorite thing about the job: Working with a great group of people including the patients/parents.

Krissy
Orthodontic Assistant, CDA
Duties: Assisting Dr. Wagner with procedures, taking patient X-rays, changing out archwires, giving oral hygiene instructions, and, most importantly, making the patients feel as comfortable as possible.
Field History: Graduated from Central Florida Institute for Dental Assisting in 1999 and started in orthodontics a few months after graduation. Later received a certificate in orthodontic assisting.
Favorite thing about orthodontics: I like seeing how our patients change during treatment, becoming happier and more confident with their appearance. They are always thrilled with their new smile and can’t wait to show it to the world!
Favorite thing about Dr. Wagner: He is both professional and personable, and always puts the patients’ comfort and health at the forefront.
Favorite thing about the job: Our patients! I enjoy getting to know them and seeing how happy they are with their beautiful finished smiles!
